P2 - Relevant NERC activities
Reviewed NERC IVGTF efforts and white paper examining capacity values and flexibility metric

Reviewing methodologies for assigning trans. capacity for wind: LOLE and LOLP
Request more volunteers.
P3 - Transmission capacity assignment and adequacy for accommodating the integration of VG
P4 - Standardizing and Validating Planning Criteria and Methodologies Issued a draft whitepaper on Wind Capacity
Issues prepared jointly with WECC LRS. Literature Review & Data Issues - focus on
July 24, 2006.

P6 - Create a centralized database for VG Circulated a survey on availability and quality of VG
data Responses were due April 12, will help drive data
collection efforts and identify confidentiality issues.
P7 – System Dynamics Issues Distributed an initial draft list of prioritized dynamics
studies to evaluate high VG scenarios across WECC Continue collecting information from WECC staff, TSS,
SRWG, MVWG and PCC as well as other dynamic studies and reports.
