As a reminder, we will be hosting our annual Sweet Serenades family holiday party on Sunday, December 11 from 1-3pm where we invite you to come mingle and jingle with your loved one and our Serenades Team. Weather permitting, we are hoping to open up the doors and bring the party out to our beautiful courtyard for everyone to enjoy. Our residents enjoyed our Veterans’ Day musical celebration and the display in our family room created with mementos, photos, uni- forms, and artwork created by our residents with Team Elliott. We noticed so many families and residents felt honored and appreciated with the tribute to their service to our country. I want to thank Carolyn Barton, our Business Office Director, and our dining services team for putting together a fantastic and well-attended Thanksgiving Celebration and Feast for our residents and their families. Carolyn has planned and executed this every year since we opened five years ago. She pours her heart into this event and we witnessed the appreciation of families in being able to enjoy such a memorable Thanksgiving with their loved ones. Serenades understands that the holiday season can be a busy one, so please let us know if we can assist you and your family with anything. Whether it’s arranging a space for families to meet, or setting up the computer tablet for you to video chat. As part of our Season of Solutions, we want to assist you in creating a holiday plan that best fits you and your loved one, especially when planning an outing or family get-together. As always, we are “At Your Service”. Lindsey Smallwood Inside This Issue: 2, 5 Activity Calendar 3, 4 Spotlight 6 Center Stage Veterans’ Day Celebration at Serenades Longwood
