more accentuated tone, thus
creating an elegant and discreet
tone-on-tone effect, as occurs in
the traditional front “tie” in a matt
Pyrite Yellow color.

the past is also embellished with a
dedicated plate, in order not to
forget this very important date.

It takes inspiration from the vehicle: color and graphics evoke the same
designed and are declined to exalt that peculiar way that silk has to
reflect the light.
The creative process started with a research on the reference imagery
world: not only Vespa, the Anniversary colors and graphics, but also on
the architecture and design of the fourties.
Starting from the research the first hand-drawn layouts have been
developed, then translated into vectoral files
The graphic is developed on the lines of number 75 and then inserted
into a frame. That gives a geometric aspect to the interplay of the silken
threads that builds a three-dimensional design.
27
3.3 CSF. The welcome kit
Vespa 75th gives you the chance to dress in pure Vespa
style thanks to the precious dedicated scarf.
T he u n i s e x s c a r f
At the silk factory the design is transformed into a stitching jacquard
program for looms.
The dimensions have been chosen to make the scarf unisex and it can be
worn around your neck or tied to the handles of the bag.
The first prototype is then realized to fine-tune colors and details.
During the production phase the interplay of the silken threads passes
through the finishing process to make it soft and resistant. Finally the
scarf hem is hand-stitched.
