Fall 2014 Newsletter Vermont River Conservancy Conserving shorelands and access since 1995 Dear <<First Name>>, Happy Autumn! What a beautiful summer it was for VRC it was filled with site visits to many of our current projects including swimming holes, waterfalls and beautiful stretches of farmland. We were excited to close on several important river access sites and river corridor easements (see VRC Recently Completed Projects), and we continue to work hard on a record number of projects set to close later this year or in 2015. With all this great work, it was wonderful to welcome Sam Watson to the staff as a parttime Project Assistant, and three new board members: Dan Dutcher, Justin Kenney and Scott Muller! You can read more about these new additions below. We are looking ahead to a busy autumn, and yet we are enjoying all that this season has to offer with brilliant colors on the trees and crisper temperatures during our site visits. We are also looking forward to connecting with you, our VRC supporters, and hearing why Vermont's rivers are special to you. There are many ways you can connect with us phone call, Facebook , Twitter , our website , email , or visit us at our Montpelier office! We love hearing from you. In this newsletter, explore with us the wonderful places we've protected, with your help and please support our ongoing efforts to protect more river lands in Vermont. Together, we can protect the rivers and lands we love.
