Swachh Bharat Mission Venue: ARCBR, Aizawl, Mizoram Duration: September 2017 Consequent upon to the MoEF letter no. PPS/AS.AP/2017 dated 6 th June 2017 and a note of Director General, ICFRE dated 13.06.2017 regarding implementation of Swachhta Pakhwada, a cleanliness drive has been carried out every fortnightly at ARCBR, Aizawl. The Director, Scientists, Ministerial and outsourced staff of ARCBR observed cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat Mission on 12.9.2017 and 28.09.2017 also. The cleanliness drives were initiated with a brief address by Sh. M. Z. Singson, Director, ARCBR. He highlighted the objectives of Swachh Bharat Mission of Government of India and motivated all officials of ARCBR to observe cleanliness in office as well in ARCBR premises. The areas surrounding office and laboratories in the campus were cleaned during this cleanliness drives, weeds were uprooted and drains were cleaned.
