MISSION STATEMENT:

Ventus Inspection Services develops and provides UAV data acquisition systems and

services which offer customers low cost solutions to improve their asset performance,

decrease failures and improve worker safety by taking “humans” out of high risk functions.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

Ventus began in 2009 as one of the first independent inspection service providers (ISP) to

the wind energy industry, the onshore and offshore oil & gas industry, the aerial mapping

industry and the infrastructure industry to utilize unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) as its

inspection platform with cloud based data storage systems integrated to proprietary damage

assessment software.

Ventus delivers both onshore and offshore solutions for aerial inspections of difficult to reach or dangerous locations. By eliminating manned aircraft, Ventus can

offer substantial cost savings, allowing you to maximize your operations & management (O&M) budget.

By utilizing unmanned drones, Ventus is able to offer a low cost blade inspection

solution to wind plant owners and operators, turbine O.E.M.s and O&M providers that

delivers better defect detection and identification than ground based inspections, lower cost

than rope access, work platform or boom cranes and real time data reporting via the cloud.

Ventus’ Data Acquisition System offers a proprietary AutoCAD based system that captures defect types, categorizes them, and allows for identification of systemic blade failures or defects. Reports are also created and uploaded in real time.
