ART CURATIONVentury works with international experts in art curation guaranteeing a final style destined to be original and tailored perfectly to each client’s requirements.

Art at diverse budget levels can be incorporated and specific selections can also be made for collectors or non-collectors who may have longer-term investment objectives in mind.

Architecture, Design and Lifestyle are not treated as three disciplines, rather they are viewed as interdependent, dictating each other’s objectives and evolution with a view to achieving an ideal harmony of influences.

Designing a building with HEART does not only mean form - it means defining a new living space, creating a different sensorial perception of one’s day to day environment. It means associating aesthetic, functionality and lifestyle.

PROCESSPHASES 1 & 2

1 2PROCESS - PHASE 1: INTENT OF DESIGN

This phase ensures that there is clear understanding of both parties of the objectives, scope and ambition of the design project. We submit a design ‘intention’ for validation before commencing the design outline.

The design intention outlines our objectives and the planned project scope in terms of its architecture, interior design, art signature and branding.

PROCESS - PHASE 2: DEFINITION OF TEAM

Once the scope and direction of the project is approved, a bespoke Ventury team is selected with individuals appointed wholly to support the project scope and its design and marketing objectives.

3PROCESS - PHASE 3: DESIGN OUTLINE

The design intention is developed into a design outline submission incorporating greater detail: rooms, common areas, restaurants, bars, FF&E…will be presented.

The Creative Director and Art Curator work closely together to fine-tune the design outline proposal prior to an internal review - a key step in validating the work is complete at this stage.

A narrow collaboration with local architects and engineers ensures compliance to local cultural and statutory obligations.

The Internal Review: External designers are called upon to bring their own views and to challenge the design outline.

The desired balance between branding, styling and functionality is achieved and the Outlined Design is presented.

PROCESS - PHASE 3: DETAILED DESIGN - PART 1

Finalising the Detailed design is a key process carried out in collaboration with the local design team and implementers. Designs may include:

• Facades (materials, colours, lighting...)

• Common areas to be included for restaurants, bars, SPA ….

• Room layouts and internal space distribution

• Technical specification to high tech level

• Specification of finishes

• FF&E

• Landscaping

Decoration, architectural and technical aspects are integrated into one final design concept.

Technical specifications are drafted in full collaboration with local design and implementation teams.

Choice of materials are optimized according to local availability and required results.

4PROCESS - PHASE 4: MONITORING

The quality of implementation is crucial and the Monitoring Phase ensures that executional quality meets required standards and fully supports the Final Design.

In order to fully monitor and control execution quality, all execution plans in relation to HEART’s design must be rubberstamped by VENTURY.

HEART’s diverse teams will apply their expertise to each subject area and assist at each level of the project, in order to ensure that the Final Design and any surrounding marketing programme is fully respected through to final delivery.

PROCESS - PHASE 4: BRANDING, MARKETING AND EVENTS

If Branding and Marketing support services are desired, these key components of the mix will be integrated during the project evolution and on the required time frame to allow the optimum impact of each in the final programme.

Once Design and Branding are finalised, and in accordance with our proposed global marketing and communications programme, our team of internationally experienced designers will prepare press conferences (locally and internationally where relevant) in order to launch the design project with maximum impact and coverage.

Advanced marketing material will be developed according to the approved programme and displayed through original supports in alignment with the client’s priorities and objectives.
