    Palazzi, beauty and secrets

Secret Venice and private masterpieces, another Venice with Marie Ghisi

Venetian art of living still exists. And it is a rare privilege to be welcomed in mysterious private palaces where the venetian aristocrats still are the witnesses

of centuries of elegance and refinement.

    Superb palace on Canal Grande

owned by one of the most ancient and famous families of Venetian Doges

Surrounded by her family, our hostess welcomes us for the visit of the palace and offers an aperitivo alla veneziana with the elegance of ancient times. They tell us the

    DAY 2

We discover Murano, the island of glass

It is the heritage of centuries of knowhow, technical and artistic discoveries. For centuries, Venice was the worldwide centre producing the most exclusive, precious

and refined glass. The glass industry contributed to the wealth and reputation of Venice. Today it still offers great artistic work amongst quantities of cheap copies. Marie will tell you the difference between the authentic and the rest, while we visit a fornace

    still working with ancient methods.

We have lunch in a typical ristorante and stroll along the streets of Murano towards the very ancient Basilica with amazing

mosaics before going back to Venice
