The LiMAR ® Velocity String BHA encompasses a Grapple Connector, Pump Out Plug and a Plug Catcher which is utilized in any of hang off application where live well deployment is required. Velocity String BHA The Grapple Connector is designed to make the connection to the CT at either end of the string. The pump out plugs feature a total of four O-Ring grooves which provide a double barrier either side of the shear screws, designed to retain the pump out plug during deployment. With the CT string on depth, applied pressure acts upon the surface area of the pump out plug which causes the shear screws to shear and the plug to travel downwards into the catcher. At this point communication from the reservoir to the CT string is achieved and the plug is retained within the catcher.

Velocity String BHA

The Grapple Connector is designed to make the connection to the CT at either end of the string.
