EA
This is EA website front page, background has change because of Christmas is near and also a self marketing of discount for their product.
Accessibility: 8/10 Very nice use of text to background colour contrast amount of buttons not overwhelming loads quickly, many information and pictures but no lag and long loading time for the pictures.
Identity: 7/10 Use of logo throughout site company tag line is clearly visible logo at top and bottom clearly visible contact and product clearly shown throughout the site, even without the logo still able to identify it's EA website.
Navigation: 6/10 Although links are clearly accessible but hard to find what you need on the web page because of lack of option to pick of things that you want to find.
Content: 7/10 Many links to their product News and self marketing as product promotion, very simple to follow and less meaningless text or pictures only important message throughout the website.
Overall: 7/10 Nice designed for gamer, it is easy to access and quick to see what's new and important because it will be on the front page but that also mean it is pointless to look through all of the website.
EA Ratings
Blizzard
Sale Ad before main site to immediately draw interest in cheap/new products also shaped to Christmas with “Give the gift of Warcraft “slogan
Blizzard Main Home Page
Centre focused design with multiple interchangeable screens that flash through the middle in order to give visual aids to multiple different products available at once links at top in order to easily browse sight clean colour code that also pushes brand. Very easy to use and navigate with a clean design that captures the eye. Room for improvement could be
the lack of space used at the sides.
Blizzard Ratings
• Accessibility: 8/10 suffers from high volume causing potential slow down
• Identity: 8/10 company and logo themed colours with prominent logo and company contact information
• Navigation: 8/10 good number but not overwhelming amount of links to different sub categories everything is clearly labelled search feature easy to spot and access
• Content: 7/10 although uses themed sub categories well HTML codes are at times non meaningful ads could also be considered obtrusive due to a redirect to a sales page before even being allowed access to the main site
• Overall: 8/10 A clean straight forward design that makes great use of themed sub categories and colour change however can at times be slow to use
Riot Games
Riot Games home page dark colours again keeping in theme with logo of the company giving site large corporate identity links to important section of the
