Each day at VBS we will be receiving an offering. The monies collected will sup-port our Vacation Bible School. Offering envelopes are provided with each day’s newsletter should you choose to make a dona-tion.

It's hard to believe, but our week is over. The time just flew right by.

We hope you enjoyed all the activities, crafts, and lessons you’ve experienced this past week!

Sunday School Begins in September You are invited to attend Sunday School here at Redeemer in the fall. Sunday School begins September 7 for children age 3 years old to adults and is held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday mornings. If you do not have a home church we encourage you to join us and learn more about the love of Jesus. King's Kids Kings Kid’s meets on Saturday’s at 5:00 p.m. for children age 3 through 4th grade. This is a fun learning time packed with a Bible story, craft and activity. Kings Kid’s is held during the 5:00 p.m. worship service beginning September 7.

get scared, and then my frill freaks out! We all get

scared sometimes. But remember — even when

you’re afraid, Jesus loves you!

In KidVid Cinema, kids heard from Amara, a kindergartner who was afraid to go to school. Amara’s school is a little different, because they have a four-footed friend named Copper who helps kids at school! Copper’s gentleness and friendliness reminded Amara of Jesus’ love and comfort when we’re afraid. Pray with your child about his or her fears, thanking God that he is bigger than anything we’re afraid of.

My name’s Ananias, And I want to tell you all About a time when God asked me To help a man named Saul.

Now Saul was pretty mean. In fact, he hurt most anyone Who believed that Jesus was the Lord, That Jesus was God’s Son. Saul traveled on a dusty road, When God’s light shone so bright!

It blinded Saul; he couldn’t see. It gave Saul quite a fright! Then God spoke and said He had a special job for me.

God wanted me to meet with Saul To pray and help him see. I was scared to help old Saul — I thought he’d hurt me, too.

But I obeyed and did just what The Lord asked me to do. And when I put my hands on Saul And he could see again,

Saul changed his name and changed his life. Saul became God’s friend!
