    CLASS OF 2014

I chose to attend UOIT for the variety ofprograms it had, which includes my major

in Criminology and Justice. My personal

research about UOIT found there was an

    ever-increasing number of international

students joining the university and this

was important to me, having never been to

Canada. I nd everyone at this university

to be so accommodating and so kind to me

that I never had a worry or a care. After

graduation, I plan to move back to my

home country of Bermuda and pursue

my dream career as a parole and

    When I Googled Automotive Engineering,

UOIT came up on the top of the list for

    Canadian institutions. I was fascinated

automotive engineering. I am so excited

about the opportunities here at UOIT with

I like UOIT because it quenches my thirst

for volunteering. In the previous year I

was an active member of various clubs

on campus like the Muslim and Pakistan

    Student Associations and the Engineering

Society. I can refresh myself by playing

cricket, tennis, squash and even ice skating

at the Campus Ice Centre (which I recently

learned). Last year I achieved a memorable

milestone in my life as a winning candidate

in the Student Association elections. In
