The ClimFill® Easy refill station gathers several key advantages for workshops. It automatically manages all operations on the A/C system including recovery, recycling, injection and weighing of the refrigerant and oil. Light and compact, this station can also be easily operated at the working area.

The ClimFill® Pro HFO offers similar features to the regular ClimFill® Pro however it is only used for the new refrigerant HFO 1234yf.

ClimFill® ProThe most advanced Valeo refill station - HFO 1234yf ready

The ClimFill® Pro displays outstanding and long-lasting charging performances. The ClimFill® Pro also benefits from its eco-patented couplers preventing any loss of refrigerant and air from entering the station tank. Additionally, this station can be converted to the new refrigerant HFO 1234yf using a conversion kit (Ref. 710217).

The ClimFill® Maxi refill station is an adaptedsolution to effectively operate on larger A/C systems in Trucks & Buses. It offers a SuperCharge mode to guarantee a top-quality intervention on such A/C circuits. The ClimFill® Maxi also features the eco-patented couplers and a LCD touch screen.

When initiating SuperCharge mode, the station’s compressor is activated so that the refrigerant is heated up before entering the station vessel. As a direct consequence, the pressure inside the refrigerant tank goes as high as possible ensuring a continuous refrigerant transfer to the A/C loop.

The S-Mode (Suction Mode) benefits from the A/C loop compressor activation which sucks up the refrigerant remaining in the hoses. The station extracts the amount needed to refill the A/C system. In addition, this mode is also used to charge in severe conditions (low refrigerant level in the tank for instance).

The Q-Mode (Quick Mode) is the most common charge mode. It’s quicker but less accurate than the S-mode. In fact the pre-charge phase (Automatic hose compensation)can be affected by ambient temperature.

The ClimFill® Lock System consists in the combination of eco-patented couplers and a piece of software that smartly manages the station when decoupling from an A/C loop.It avoids refrigerant release in the atmosphere when decoupling. It also prevents air from entering the hoses and therefore non condensable gas from accessing the station refrigerant tank. Refrigerant oilReplacement Refrigerant oil has to be reinjected every time there is a maintenance or repair operation on the A/C loop. Below are some typical problems due to refrigerant oil:

l Use of inappropriate type of refrigerant oil

l Lack / excess of refrigerant oil

l Internal corrosion due to the presence of humidity in the A/C loop

l A/C loop blocked (filter drier & expansion valve blocked)

Recommendations l Choose the compatible refrigerant

oil (type, quantity and viscosity) with the compressor type, refrigerant fluid and car application:

Function The A/C loop’s performance and longevity depends on the refrigerant oil as:

l It helps cooling down the compressor and removing impurities from the system

l It also keeps the A/C loop sealed by reinforcing each component’s watertightness

l It prevents damages to the compressor by lubricating moving parts

FunctionThe valves are used to fill in the A/C circuit with refrigerant. They also help preventing light refrigerant leaks on the couplers.

ReplacementRepeated connection to the A/C ports will lead to valve damage. When the valve is damaged, leaks will appear.

1. Open the bonnet and remove the air intake grill located at the bottom of the windscreen.

2. Take your cabin air filter(s). If necessary, refer to the technical booklet of the vehicle.

3. Switch on. Adjust the ventilation system to the maximum (cold position, front ventilation, air conditioning stopped without interior air recycling).

4. Fix the stem of disperser included in the box on the aerosol.

5. Slip the stem into the air intake at the bottom of the windscreen and empty the whole contents of the totality of the aerosol by a series of some 5 second pressures. Important: The aerosol has to be held vertically.

6. Stop the ventilation. Leave it for 10 minutes.

7. Start again the ventilation in maximum position for 10 minutes.

8. The treatment is finished. Replace your cabin air filter(s)*, then the grill of the air intake.

* we recommend you to replace your worn cabin air filter(s) by a new filter of the Valeo range. For more effectiveness, disperse a little ClimPurTM spray on both faces of the new filter(s) before replacing.

The vehicle cabin may be a source of bacteria growth and unpleasant smells (caused by bacteria, mould, tobacco, pets...). Using a simple air-freshener may mask the odour but won’t solve the issue. 1. Clean the interior of the vehicle

4. Program the A/C to the coolest temperature

Why to change the brake fluid? Moisture absorption: while DOT Brake fluid is in a closed brake system, it remains in contact with air. With time, the moisture naturally contained in the air contaminates the brake fluid integrity.

Every year the liquid absorbs between 2 and 4 % of moisture.

As a consequence, water in brake system leads to:l A decrease in capacities of lubrication

and protection against corrosion l The boiling point is getting lower

High temperatures: when the brakes are too often solicited, the boiling point might be exceeded. Gas bubbles are produced in the brake cylinders and calipers (Vapor lock), jeopardizing braking performances.
