A group of Core Clubs are the driving force for EDP programming. While our teams compete with other intensely, as clubs we have many values in common and work together to help promote competition and activities that serve our needs in developing outstanding soccer players.

Typically an EDP Core Club:

Has an excellent professional coaching staff under a single Coaching Director

Has a program that sets policies and high standards and which are consistent across all its elite teams

Prioritizes player development over winning

Has Multiple teams competing in EDP Flights and is an active promoter of EDP programming

Has a track record of preparing players or college level play and higher: nurturing not only soccer skills and knowledge but also the discipline and competitive nature needed for success as an adult.

Has a reputation for professionalism in with regard to game conduct and dealing with peer clubs.

Player Evaluation Forms

- Will cover the 4 main technical areas- Technical/Skill- Tactical/Decision Making- Physical- Psychological

- Create Goals for upcoming season jointly with players & parents

U4-U9 – Players will receive feedback during practice session.

U9-U11 – Evaluations will be performed upon request.

U11-U14 – Annual Player Evaluations. Typically mid-year(winter)
