IGNOU launches online admissions

Indra Gandhi National Open University launched an online ad-mission system on wednesday. The system was launched by pro viceChancellor of IGNOU professor Nageswara Rao. Applicants will nowbe able to submit their application forms online and receive instantconfirmation for successful submission of their application formsthrough email and SMS.

There is the provision for payment of programme fee online usingtheir online payment gateway. The facility will be available for theongoing admission session for all the 148 academic programmes. Theonlind admission facility can be accessed on the official website of theuniversity www.ignou.ac.in.

The last for submission of applications for bachelor preparatorypfogramme, certificate, advance certificate and PG Certificateprogrammes will be June 15.

In case of master, bachelor PG diploma and diploma levelprogramme, the last date will be August 17 without late fee and August31 with late fee of Rs.300.
