Corporartion is all set togive the Kwait based NationalCleaning Company a seven yearcontract to clean up the
Valasaravakkam, Alandur, Perungudi and Sholinganallur zones.Oncegiven the job, the company is expected to distribute two bins eachto households - a green one for biodegradable waste like foodwaste, and a blue one for non-biodegradable stuff like plastic andglass.
The company will spread the awareness among the publicto ensure that household segregate waste before handing itover’ said an official. Residents said they were willing to followthe segration guidelines if it results in a neater neighbourhood.
