Power is produced in the head. The patented lance head has been upgraded by

reducing the dimensions and optimizing the proportions between the internal and external

surface areas. This improves inside to outside heat transfer, guaranteeing an ice-free head

even in extremely low temperatures and under adverse wind conditions. The combination of

the new flush mounted aluminum nozzles with ceramic inserts and the improved spray pattern

ensures now an impressive snow output of the V3 in all areas.

1 New lance head with nucleators & nozzles. The enhanced flush mounted propelling nozzles made of

anodized aluminum with ceramic inserts guarantee optimum heat transfer between the lance head and nozzle

shafts. The larger opening angle between the 3 nucleators and the new arrangement of the controllable nozz-

les effectively increases snow output. A special heat transfer system ensures that the lance head remains free

of ice even in extremely cold temperatures and under adverse wind conditions. 2 Valve technology with

water filter. The easily accessible overground valve block made of high-quality die-cast aluminum has been

recently developed. Perfected valve technology, the built-in water filter made of high-quality nickel chromium

steel, the discharge valves and the reliable sensors guarantee fail-safe operation and a long service life. 3 Oil-

free aluminum compressor with built-in cooling circuit. The compressor, low maintenanceand oil-free,

and therefore particularly eco-friendly, is remarkable for its compact size and high performance. 4 Electric

cabinet. The new, compact electric cabinet with a centralized cable-entry point avoids having to twist or

shear the cables. It can also be mounted on a mechanical structure with 3 stayers, and on compressor lances.

1 Lightweight lance construction. The robust chassis made of galvanized steel guarantees high stability

despite its compact dimensions. It is simple to mount on the widest variety of base elements. The hydraulic

height adjustment, manual horizontal turning gear and compact electric cabinet are easy to access and

operate. 2 Hydraulic height adjustment. The hydraulic height adjustment cylinder which combines a pump

and tank in one unit means that the lance can be adjusted easily with very little effort. The inbuilt throttle

valve prevents the lance from jerking and, in conjunction with the template, guarantees maximum operat-

ing safety. 3 Plug-in base. The simple and sturdy mechanical structure connector enables fast and efficient

initial installation, and equally simple disassembly for storing the snow generator during the summer months.

The new plug-in base with its double hole pattern and flat base is ideal for pit and concrete foundations.

1 Precision measurement of temperature and relative atmospheric humidity by the newly

developed TechnoAlpin meteo station with support, fixed cable lengths and connector. The screw connection

acts as a cover plate preventing water seepage while also providing strain relief for the cables. 2 Lighting.

Floodlights with support, fixed cable lengths with connector and screw connection providing cable strain

relief. 3 ON/OFF valve. This opens or closes the water supply. An inbuilt safety valve automatically shuts

off the water supply in case of power failure. 4 Hydromat WO. This works as a pressure reducing valve,

regulating water pressure and facilitating management of major pressure differences (particularly suitable for

lances located near pump stations). 5 Overground valve block. Sensors and motor valves are securely

contained under the cover for transport and on-site handling. The opening on the bottom ensures that the

entire apparatus is well ventilated and prevents build up of condensation. Water and air connections can be

easily and quickly connected using Camlock coupling without the risk of confusion (different connector sizes).

1 Hydraulic height adjustment. Height is adjusted using hydraulic height-adjustment cylinders and a template

with a safety locking pin for maximum operating safety. 2 Mechanical height adjustment – an alternative

to the hydraulic version. Height is mechanically adjusted by a cylinder. After the lance has been positioned, the

cylinder can be removed and used to adjust other lances.
