The aim of the presentation:
The review of nowadays approaches and methods used for behaviour simulation of textile materials, once they have been joined in a three-dimensional object – piece of clothing, car seat or a seating element of interior – in addition to virtual prototyping process of clothes and their implementation into virtual fashion shows and e-shops.

Testing procedure
Understanding this phenomenon for the purpose of its mathematical record in computer supported environment is of significant importance when it comes to designing and constructing clothes in Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems and virtual environments.

The first accurate clothes simulation applications appeared in 1990s. They integrated numerous computer technologies that included clothes simulations and were focused mostly on modelling, animation of human body motion, interaction between body and clothes as well as its response.

Virtual fashion shows and e-shops surely have a future.
Their advantages are mostly emphasized when it comes to cutting back on time intended for creating and developing designer’s ideas while designing a new model.
Furthermore, a stylist is able to easily choose from a selection of various items.

CONCLUSION
Can virtual fashion shows or e-garment shops completely replace the real traditional fashion show or fashion stores?
The answer is still no.
The primary advantage of virtual simulations is that we can design clothes while directly monitoring its fitting to the silhouette of a specific person without his or her physical presence.
