Low-income telephone assistance is available to qualifying low-income Bee-hive Telephone customers through the “Lifeline” and “Link-up” federal tele-phone assistance programs. The City of Brigham is proposing to increase its property

tax revenue.

- The City of Brigham tax on a $225,000 residence would

increase from $131.67 to $278.19, which is $146.52 per

year.

- The City of Brigham tax on a $225,000 business would

increase from $239.40 to $505.80, which is $266.40 per

year.

- If the proposed budget is approved, City of Brigham

would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by

111.26% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue

excluding eligible new growth.

All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on

the tax increase.
