Williamson County Fair! The Extension Office plays a dual role in the months of July and August, preparing and facilitating our County’s annual fair as well as extension programming. This newsletter highlights some of the many ways we are involved.

Ninety-two 4-H member volunteers tend the barnyard for the nine days of the fair. This is a very popular fair attraction for all ages.

4-H Chick Chain — Grand and Reserve Champions above. At right, 4-H members bring one of the five pullets they return for auction. This money buys the next round of chicks for next year’s chick chain.
