Universal Techno Engineering Industries FZ LLC (UTEI) is a manufacturing company located in Al

Ghail Industrial Park – Ras Al Khaimah is established in 2010. UTEI became a leading recycling company

for PET plastic in UAE. Our consistent quality and High standards have made us a symbol of trust with

our buyers all over the world in different market segments.

Producing clear and colored hot washed PET flakes for the Fiber Industry. Our current plant has

a capacity of 100 Tons / month.

The company also has a chemical plant for producing Polyol, serving the Sandwich Panel

producers and others who use rigid form foam, with a production capacity of 150 tons per month.

Very soon the Teflon Tape production line will also be starting, with a capacity of 9 million

pieces per year

Recycled PET (RPET)

Universal Techno Engineering Industries FZ LLC (UTEI) is

leading Plastic Recyclers and Exporters of Hot Washed and Cold

Washed PET Flakes from United Arab Emirates. UTEI has

invested in the most advanced machinery available to insure

low contamination high grade PET Flakes.

We are currently meeting the requirements of various

international markets in Africa, Mid East and Domestic Market

in UAE for their RPET requirements.

We buy post consumer plastics waste / Pet Bottles

baled from United Arab Emirate (Sharjah, Dubai, Al Qusais etc)

torecycle.

We transport the waste plastics / Bottles to our recycling

factory and convert it into primary raw material / PET Flakes

which can be recycled and used again.

We are equipped with the technology to transform waste bottles to Clear PET flakes which can be

used to for various applications like Fibers, RPET Chips , PET Straps , APET Sheet & other related.

WHAT IS PET?

Recycled Poly Ethylene Terephthalate (RPET) can be used to make many new products,

including fiber for polyester carpet; fabric for T-shirts, long underwear, athletic shoes, luggage,

upholstery and sweaters; fiberfill for sleeping bags and winter coats; industrial strapping, sheet and film;

automotive parts, such as luggage racks, headliners, fuse boxes, bumpers, grilles and door panels; and

new PET containers for both food and non-food products.

PET is used as a raw material for making packaging materials such as bottles and containers for

packaging a wide range of food products and other consumer goods. Examples include soft drinks,

alcoholic beverages, detergents, cosmetics, pharmaceutical products and edible oils. PET is one of the

most common consumer plastics used. Poly Ethylene Terephthalate also can be used as main material in

making paper.

PET stands for Poly Ethylene Terephthalate, a plastic

resin and a form of polyester. Poly Ethylene Terephthalate is

a polymer that is formed by combining two monomers called

modified ethylene glycol and purified Terephthalic acid.

PET is the type of plastic labeled with the #1 code on or near

the bottom of bottles and containers and is commonly used

to carry soft drinks, water, juice, peanut butter, salad

dressings, oil, cosmetics and household cleaners.

Manufacturers use PET plastic to package products because

of its strength, thermo-stability and transparency. Customers

choose PET because it is inexpensive, lightweight, resealable,

shatter-resistant and recyclable.

Aromatic Polyester Polyol (APP)

LLC (UTEI) has most advanced machineries and

chemical plant for producing Polyol, which is base

Polyol, not blended one. So we can supply tailor

made Polyol according to the client specification with

regards to Acid, OH& viscosity values.

We are currently meeting the requirements of

various companies those who are using rigid form

foam, screen printing etc in international markets

and domestic markets especially in UAE.

APP is also used in flexible foam and shoe-sole

systems, but in only small ratio like max. 5 – 10% as a

cost cutter.

We have already one plant working parallel for

the production of PET flakes. Using a part these hot

washed clear PET flakes as a main raw material for

manufacturing Aromatic Polyester Polyol (APP). Also

we are using some other raw materials like Adipic

Acid, DEG etc.

UTEI has created research and technological

laboratories for each application field. This enable it

to support individual Customers needs and to offer

pilot plant tests customized to their requirements. So

we can also supply tailor made products to satisfy

the specific needs of the Customers.

WHAT IS APP?

Liquid ester oligomers (polyester polyol) composed of polyvalent carboxylic acids (PA, TPA,

Adipic acid, succinic acid, etc.) and polyhydric alcohols (EG, DEG, GL, etc.)

Characteristics:

With its aromatic rings, it is highly inflammable compared to general-purpose PPG polyol.

Due to its high cohesion and improved brittleness, it shows excellent adhesiveness to the work

surface, the surface materials of panels, various boards, metals, inorganic gypsum plates, etc., when it is

sprayed.

Teflon Tape:

Universal Techno Engineering Industries FZ LLC

(UTEI) started the Teflon Tape production recently. We

already imported the main machineries for the same

and its assembling procedure is ongoing.

We hope we can start supply of Teflon tape in

the domestic market soon.

Mixed Plastic Scrap:

Universal Techno Engineering Fz LLC (UTEI) can supply Scrap HDPE & PP bottles with shredded

mixed plastics mostly bottle’s caps and labels. Mostly these scraps include Mixed plastics, Bottle's caps,

Labels, Iron wires and Aluminum cans. Please find below the snap shots for your references. Quantity
