What is a “QR code”?

“A QR code (abbreviation for Quick Response code) is a specific matrix barcode that is readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera telephones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded may be text, URL, or other data.”

What? … In English please…

It’s a little square picture that when you scan it will take you to

a website, pdf, text or other information.

One can scan the codes with smart phones or webcams (if your computer has the right
