As of June 1, 2020, the USTA suspension of play was lifted and junior tournaments could resume. The USTA/Midwest Section is looking to bring players back to the court in the safest way possible. To make things as fair as possible across the country, the USTA Sections agreed upon the following dates to bring tournament levels back for National ranking: • June 1: Sections can begin hosting National Level 6 and 7 events (2020 Midwest Level 4 and 5). • July 1: Sections can begin hosting National Level 5 events (2020 Midwest Level 3). • July 25: Sections can begin hosting National Level 3 and 4 events (2020 Midwest Level 1 and 2). To promote local play and give Districts an opportunity to host a District Championships should they choose, we will not be hosting any Midwest Elevated Tournaments in the month of July. A few changes have been made to some of the summer Midwest Elevated Events. The event details are listed below. RESUMING RANKINGS To ensure our players receive a full 52 weeks’ worth of data, we will be backdating the calculation to include 52 weeks in addition to the USTA period of suspension of 11 weeks and six days. Therefore, the first group of standing lists that is run will cover March 27, 2019, through June 16, 2020, with only players age-eligible through July 1. It is important to note that Midwest Top 100 Bonus Points Lists are also included. The Section’s ranking details are outlined below.

As of June 1, 2020, the USTA suspension of play was lifted and junior tournaments could resume. The USTA/Midwest Section is looking to bring players back to the court in the safest way possible.
