Select “Change a password” Type in: Nms110703

* Notice the capital letter in Nms

* The numbers are your 6 digit

birthday (month + day + year) When done, log off and return to the tables

It’s a good idea to read message aloud before sending to make sure it makes senses and lacks errors

Check your spelling before sending the message

Office 365 (what you’re logging into for your email) has other online programs you can access, including Word. You can type and spell check your message in Word and then copy and paste it into your email

What do the buttons mean?

To: These are the people you are directly talking to

Reply: This will return an email to just the person who emailed you

It is the same username used when logging into a computer---with @students.rentonschools.us added (last name . first initial + school ID number)

For example: John Smith #123456 will login as

Remember, you just changed yours

Click on the arrow next to your name to find your actual email address

Sending an Email

Make sure Outlook is selected

Click new mail in the upper left

This is a school assigned email and should be used for educational and professional communication. Email is not private. Emails will be monitored and can be used as evidence in the case of bullying or inappropriate behavior.
