Increase in amount of students using tablets at the University of Leeds
In the US 25% of college students/college bound students now own a tablet

• Tablet computing is one of the 6 technologies to watch for on the near horizon
• Students expect to be able to learn on these devices whenever & wherever
• Presents new opportunities to enhance learning experiences

Conclusions
• Innovate but also imitate
• Is it our role to support students & researchers?
• Increased confidence in using technology
• Would we buy another one if they were taken off us?
