Organising the grades
• Numeric grade: A numerical grade between 1 and 100. This is already set up and ready to use within all Moodle courses.
• Scale: A customized grading profile that can be letters, words, statements, or numbers (such as Pass, Merit, and Distinction).
• Letter grade: A grading profile that can be linked to percentages (such as 100 percent > A).
Customising grades: Scales
A standard scale is available site-wide, for all courses.
An ordered list of values, ranging from negative to positive, separated by commas, for example "Disappointing, Not good enough, Average, Good, Very good, Excellent!"
Customising grades: Letters
Click this box to change the scales.
You can use letters or words here.
This setting determines the minimum percentage over which grades will be assigned the grade letter.
