Using Matrox DualHead2Go Digital Edition withMatrox Convert DVI products on PCFollow this one-time procedure to convert your DualHead2Go Digital Edition to an analog to digital converter. (Note that only DVIoutput 1 from the Dualhead2Go will be enabled)
1. Download the firmware updater from the download section of the Matrox Video Web site(http://www.matrox.com/video/en/support/downloads/).
2. Double-click the ZIP file to extract, launch the MtxGXMUtilities.exe to start the utility:

3. From the Matrox GXM Firmware Utility, select Update your Matrox hardware:
4. Browse to the folder containing the update file and select the DH2G_Analog2Digital.pkg file:

5. Carefully read the information in the confirmation dialog, then click OK:
6. Wait for the utility to finish updating your Matrox GXM product firmware:

7. Click Restart to reboot your computer and complete the update:
Your DualHead2Go Digital Edition is now configured as an analog to digital converter for use with the Matrox Convert DVI family ofproducts. Note that only output 1 of the DualHead2Go is enabled.
After following this one-time procedure, connect the VGA cable from your computer to the DualHead2Go Digital Edition and connectthe DVI input of the Convert DVI to the DualHead2Go’s first DVI output. You will need to connect the DualHead2Go’s USB cable to a computer to power the device. 2. From the Matrox PowerDesk interface, select Help and Troubleshooting:
To reset the DualHead2Go back to its original settings:
1. Download and install Matrox PowerDesk for PC (version 2.07.01.001 or newer) from the Matrox Graphics Technical Support

3. Select Troubleshoot:

4. Expand the Expansion module section and select Reset DualHead2Go Digital Edition to manufacturer settings:

5. Carefully read the information in the confirmation dialog, then click YES:

Your DualHead2Go Digital Edition is now back to its original settings.
6. Click Restart to reboot your computer and complete the update:
