User manual for Pre-counseling online steps WB PG Medical/ Dental 2017

(Purely Indicative)

Qualified candidates through NEET PG 2017 or NEET MDS 2017 and willing to be

considered for West Bengal PG Medical/Dental Online Counseling 2017 are hereby

requested to log in within the stipulated date/s and time in the website www.wbmcc.nic.in

Upon login in the following page will be displayed:-

They have to click the link: PG Medical/Dental Pre-Counseling and Counseling

Upon clicking the link the following page will appear:-

Now the new user has to click the link Application for participation in Pre-Counseling

Then the following webpage will open up:-

The required data fields have to be correctly filled up by the concerned candidate and click

Submit Button. They have to put 10 digit valid mobile number.

After clicking the Submit button the following page appears:-

If the data is OK till now then click onto the button Continue to Confirm

If the candidate has opted for domicile West Bengal in the NEET PG 2017 form fill up before

examinations or has written that he/she has passed MBBS/BDS from West Bengal then after

filling up of the data fields as above they will be asked whether they choose Open Category

or In-service (Govt. of WB Dept of Health and Family Welfare) category.

If the candidate belongs to Open Category then click on the respective radio button and the

next filed appears:-

The field asks whether the candidate is in possession of PG Degree or Diploma or none.

If the answer to the question is affirmative for PG Degree or Diploma then chooses

accordingly and the next filed appears.

The course must be completed on or before 30.04.2017 for further eligibility.

If the date of completion is on or before 30.04.2017 then further processing is done by the

software.

If the answer to the question is in affirmative then the last date of completion of bond related

formalities shall be 30.04.2017

Before going to the payment option the following variations are discussed:-

If the candidate is a caste candidate (SC/ST/OBC) as stated while filling up of form in NEET

PG 2017 before examination to NBE then the following web pages will be required to be

filled in by the concerned candidate:-

If the caste certificate is not issued in the State of West Bengal then the candidate will be

considered in the unreserved category except for the central institutes.

If the candidate has opted Physically Challenged category while filling up of form for NEET

PG 2017 examination to NBE then the following webpage has to be filled up by such

candidates for further eligibility.

If the candidate selects PC Others option then the candidate will not be eligible for PC

reservation. Candidate can however continue to fill up other information sought for to be considered as

Non PC category.

If the candidate belongs to OBC category then he/she has to answer the following questions:-

For in-service candidate serving in Dept of Health and Family Welfare Govt. of WB the

questions will be like as follows:-

If the candidate selects WBHS or WBPHAS service then the following question will be asked

by the online software:-

If the response is affirmative to the above question of 3 year service in rural areas then the

candidate remains eligible but if the candidate selects negative response then the following

question is asked.

If now they select yes then the candidate is considered further but if the candidate selects No

then the candidate is not eligible for in-service category seats.

In-service candidates are also asked about previous Degree or Diploma information as shown

below:-

If the date of completion of trainee reserve for diploma course is beyond 30.04.2015 then the

candidate will not be eligible to apply for in-service category seats.

If the trainee reserve date is within allowed time frame then the following webpage will

appear:-

If the in-service candidate selects PG Degree as previous completed course or pursuing then

the candidate is not eligible for in-service category vide TR Rules 2015.

If the candidate is in regular service in West Bengal under Govt. of West Bengal ( except

Dept of Health and Family Welfare) or Govt. of India or Semi-Government organizations

then the following webpage options are shown to them and they are only eligible for Open

category seats if found otherwise eligible.

Now if the candidate had stated while filling up of the form for NEET PG/NEET MDS 2017

before NBE that the candidate is neither domicile of West Bengal nor they have passed

MBBS/BDS from the State of West Bengal then the webpage will appear as below:-

Now this candidate as not domicile of WB neither passed MBBS/BDS from WB so the

question will be different:-

Now if the candidate selects First option then the candidate has to go through the web pages

for in-service Govt. of WB sponsored candidates likewise.

If the candidate selects Second option then the candidate falls in the category of other service

candidates and can apply for Open category seats but not in-service Govt. sponsored seats.

Both the above two cases are by default eligible for Private Management Quota seats

also. No separate form fill up is needed.

If the candidate selects the third option as None of these then he/she is eligible only for

Private Management seats in West Bengal.

For the Dental candidates the following are different as stated below:-

The Service under Dept of Health and Family Welfare Govt. of West Bengal are WBDS or

WBDES.

There is no provision of indemnity bond for Open candidates.

There is no central institute in West Bengal offering MDS courses at present.

No PG Dental diploma course is offered at present in West Bengal.

Management quota seats in Private Dental Colleges are available at present in GNIDSR

Panihati and HIDSAR Haldia.

For payment of fees the following steps to be done (medical/dental):-

After making successful payment the transaction ID will be generated which can be printed

for future correspondence. The example ID page is as follows:-

After successful payment the Transaction ID can be confirmed from view Transaction ID.

Generation of acknowledgement slip/Sponsorship form as the case may be after successful

transaction:-

With this page and documents in original and photocopy as per notice the concerned

candidate must present himself or herself for physical verification at the statutory centre.
