• Theharnessstrapsmustalwaysbelockedwhenthechildisintheseat.

• Theharnessstrapsmustbetightenedwithoutslackandnottwisted.

• Theseatcovercontainsmagnetsintheareaswiththeorangeindications.Magnetscaninfluenceelectronicequipmentlikepacemakers.

• Thefloorsupportmustalwaysbeusedwhenitisinstalledrearward-facing.Makesurethatthefloorsupportisfullypusheddown.Wheninstallingforward-facingthefloorsupportandthefrontbraceshallnotbeused.

• WheninstalledwithISOfix:Makesuretheindicatorsaregreenbeforeyoudrive.

• Werecommendtousetheseataslongaspossibleintherearward-facinginstallation.

• Werecommendthatthisseatisusedonlyforchildrenwhocansitupright,sonotyoungerthan6months.

• Forchildrenunder1yearand/orunder10kgweight,werecommendthatthemostreclinedsittingpositionandthebodyhuggerandseatcushionareused.

• Whenthechildweighsover18kgortheshoulderheightgrowsabovethehighestpositionoftheshoulderstraps,thechildmustchangetoagroup2/3seat.

• Afteranaccident,theseatmustbereplaced.Althoughitmaylookundamaged,ifyouweretohaveanotheraccident,theseatmaynotbeabletoprotectyourchildaswellasitshould.

• Preventtheseatfrombecomingtrappedorweigheddownbyluggage,seatsand/orslammingdoors.

• ItisNOTALLOWEDtomounttheseatinafrontpassengerseatWITHANACTIVATEDAIRBAG.

• Theseatcanonlybeinstalledrearward-facinginvehiclesequippedwithISOfixanchoragepoints.

Whenmountinginthebackseatofthevehicle,pushthefrontseatofthevehicleforwardasmuchaspossible.Whenmountinginthefrontseatofthevehicle,adjustthebackrestinanuprightposition.

FindtheISOfixanchoragepointsinthevehicle(1).

IfyourvehicleisnotequippedwithISOfixinsertionclipsinsertthesetomakeinstallationeasier.YoucanfindtheISOfixinsertionclipsunderthebaseoftheseatordeliveredseparatelywiththeseat(2).

RemovethecapsfromtheISOfixconnectorsbypressingdowntheISOfixreleasebuttons(3).

Installthefrontbracebyslidingthetwopinsintheholesofthebeltguidinghook.Movethefrontbraceinwardswiththeratchet,notfurtherthanthestopsign.Theratchetisusedtoadjustthefrontbraceinbothdirections.Slidetheknobs(seeredcircle)ontheratchetupordowntochangedirection(4).

Assemblethefloorsupportbeforeyouinstalltheseatinyourvehicle.

Thefloorsupportmustgothroughthebeltloop.Thebeltloopmustalsobeledintothehookonthefloorsupport(5).

Donotfastenthelockingboltyet.

Placetheseatsidewaysintothecarwiththefrontbracetowardsyou.

Pushthefloorsupportdowntothefloor.

Turntheseatintotherightposition(withthefrontbraceagainstthebackrest).

PullbothISOfixconnectorsasfaroutaspossible(6).TheswitchwillgointothelowestpositionandlockstheISOfixconnectors.

Positionedinthebackseatofthevehicle,youshould,ifpossible,pushthefrontseatofthevehiclebackwards,sothatitisincontactwiththechildseat.Ifitisnotpossibletoobtaincontactwiththechildseat,pushthebackrestofthefrontseatofthevehicleforwardsothatthedistancebetweenchildseatandbackrestofthefrontseatofthevehicleisminimum25cm.Positionedinthefrontseatofthevehicle,youshouldpositiontheseatagainstthedashboard.

• Makesurethefloorsupportisfullypusheddown,incontactwiththefloorofthevehicle,andlocked.

• MakesureallISOfixindicatorsaregreenbeforeyoudrive.

Iftheseatisinstalledinthebackseatofthevehicle,pushthefrontseatofthevehicleforwardasmuchaspossible

Removethelockingboltfromthefloorsupport,adjustthefloorsupportinthehighestpositionandlockagainwiththelockingbolt.

Movethefrontbraceinwardswiththeratchet,notfurtherthanthestopsign.

ReleasetheISOfixconnectorsbypressingthereleasemechanismontheISOfixconnectors(13).

PushtheswitchoneachsideandpushtheISOfixconnectorsintothebase(14).

Pulltheseatbacktowardsthefront.Turntheseatsoyoucaneasilyremovetheseat.

Removetheinsertionclipsfromthevehicle.Placethemunderthebaseofthechildseat.

Pushtheseatfirmlyintothecarseat.

Tightinstallationismostimportantforforwardfacingseats.Tensionthebeltsasfollows:Pulltheshoulderbeltupwards(A).Haveafirmgripontheshoulderbeltintheseatarea(B).Closetheclampontheinnerside(C).PullupperbeltpartonthedoorsideandcloseclampD(18).

Iftheseatisinstalledinthebackseatofthevehicle,pushthefrontseatofthevehicleforwardasmuchaspossible.

Loosenthetensioninthecarbeltbymovingthebeltguidinghookinwardswiththeratchet,notfurtherthanthestopsign.

Unlockthebeltclampsandunlockthecarbelt.

Removethecarbeltandremovetheseatfromthevehicle.

Pulltheloopsoftheharnessstrapsfromthebottomoftheseatpartthroughtheopeningstothehooksinthebottomoftheseat.Hookbothharnessstrapsonthemetalbelthooksandpullthestrapsfirmlytoensurethattheyarecorrectlyinstalled.

Pulltheheadrestinthehighestposition.Mounttheheadrestcoverandconnectthehooksatthebackside.Pulltheharnessstrapsthroughtheholes.Connecttheloosebottompartoftheheadrestfabricwiththeplasticpartundertheheadrest.

• ThemassgroupandtheISOfixsizeclassforwhichthisdeviceisintendedis:C.

• Theseatissuitableforfixingintotheseatpositionsofthevehicleslistedintheseparate‘carlist’.Seatpositionsinothervehiclesmayalsobesuitabletoacceptthischildrestraint.Ifindoubt,consulteitherthechildrestraintmanufacturerortheretailer.Forupdatedcarlistsee:www.besafe.eu
