PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:

Planning Commission recommends that UP-11-27 be APPROVED with the following stipulations: (8-0; Van Laethem/Bell, Kish excused)

1. The applicant/owner shall remove the yellow striping on the metal roof and leave it a solid dark color to be in accordance with the design standards of the Transportation Corridor Overlay District as referenced by the Great Bridge Village Design Guidelines. The change shall be completed within 90 days of the date of approval of this use permit by City Council.

2. The applicant/owner agrees that the storage of tires, even temporary, and vehicle service work, including, but not limited to, removing and installing tires, shall be prohibited in front of or to the side of the building.

Mrs. Hanson read UP-11-27 into the record for Commission review and action.

Staff Presentation:

Mrs. Hanson stated that based on sound planning practices, Planning staff recommended UP-11-27 APPROVED with the stipulations as listed in the official agenda.

COMMISSION VOTE:

Commissioner Van Laethem moved that UP-11-27 be APPROVED with the stipulations as listed in the official agenda and as recommended by staff. Commissioner Bell seconded the motion. The motion was carried by a vote of 8 - 0. Commissioner Kish was excused.
