Topic: Improved Patient Care through Lawsuit Protection and Prevention for Dentists Course Objective: To maintain focus on improved patient care, rather than lawsuit defense. Structure practice for lawsuit protection and prevents, and implement legal structures that will reduce liability insurance costs. Larry Oxenham, Author, Senior Advisor Larry Oxenham is one of America’s top asset protection
experts, having helped thousands of doctors achieve financial peace of mind by teaching them how
to properly structure their assets for lawsuit protection and tax reduction. He has authored and co-authored
several articles and books on the subject including The Asset Protection Bible and How to Achieve Financial Peace of
Mind through Asset Protection. His career has been credited with helping thousands of people save millions of
dollars. Larry Oxenham is a nationally recognized speaker who has trained thousands of professionals at hundreds
of conventions, conferences and seminars across the country.
Topic: Current Treatments for Dentinal Hypersensitivity and Digital Case Presentation Course Objective: This course is designed to teach the fundamental principles of treating
sensitive teeth. The current understanding of the mechanism and causes of dentinal
hypersensitivity will be reviewed. Attendees will learn how teeth become sensitive and how to
evaluate the many available treatment options. Also, the course will enable you to present
treatment plans to patients using Microsoft PowerPoint. Participants will learn the most efficient
methods for organizing effective presentations.
Steven S. Christensen, DDS, FAGD: Steven Christensen graduated from Creighton University Dental School in
1987. He was a member of the faculty at the University of Washington School of Dentistry for 7 years where he
conducted clinical research in general dental practices. Dr. Christensen is an A+ Certified Computer Technician and
a Microsoft Certified PowerPoint Specialist.
Topic: How to Identify and Treat Cervical Resorption Course Objective: To understand the etiology and progression of cervical resorption, how to recognize it, and which cases can be successfully treated. Dr. John J. Christensen graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1979 and
began practicing with his father, Robert Juel Christensen (NUDS 1951). John has served on the
Utah Dental Association’s annual Convention committee for 8 years and as chairman in 2005. In
2005 he joined the Academy of General Dentistry and was awarded the AGD Fellowship in 2009 (Eligible for
Mastership in 2017). He presented the results of a study performed with Dr. John Burgess at the American
Association of Dental Research’s national convention in Orlando, Florida in 2006. He has published 3 articles in the
Restorative section of the AGDs’ General Dentistry. Dr. Christensen has participated in TRAC (formerly CRA; Rella
Christensen) studies of: class 2 resins, all ceramic 3 tooth bridge, iTero digital scanner, and indirect resin
restorations. Dr. Christensen currently practices general dentistry in Layton, Utah.

with speakers; Create rooming list to send to the resorts; Keep record of meeting expenses and collaborate with Treasurer; work with the Tennis Director regarding all aspects of the tennis tournament; Keep organization in good standing as a CE providor. Will need to attend all meetings.
