Markers come roll form to meet any pipe diameter and feature the correct outer color bands, legend bands and wording. Arrows are preprinted on the roll with alternating legends that can be read in any direction. USE: For use on Marine, Ship & Offshore pipe marking projects that must follow the ISO 14726 Standard. COMPLIANCE: Complies with ISO 14726 1&2 Standard for Marine and Offshore Pipe Marking. Marking pipes on ships and offshore sites is of utmost importance to insure safety at all times. Accidents, injuries and machine and/or facility damage can be the result of employees not being made aware of the substances that flow through pipe systems. The ISO 14726 Standard defines the principle colors for identifying pipes. Each of the specified colors indicate a certain group of substances. All text is in English. ADHESIVE: Tough All-weather acrylic adhesive with peel-off paper liner.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Best results if applied to clean, oil-free pipe. Clean as necessary prior to application
SERVICE TEMPERATURE: -40°F to 180°F (-40°C to 82°C)
APPLICATION TEMERATURE: 50°F (10°C)
AVERAGE OUTDOOR DURABILITY: 5 years average mid continental U.S. Results will vary based on location, environmental conditions & varies with background color.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE: GOOD
MOISTURE RESISTANCE: EXCELLENT
ABRASION RESISTANCE: EXCELLENT
GLOSS: 135 UNITS (20° test)
STORAGE STABILITY: 2 years storage & shelf life when stored at 70°F (21°C) and 50% relative humidity.
