The U.S. Embassy in Jamaica is seeking a Security Cooperation Coordinator to work on a full time
basis in the Military Liaison Office. *In order to develop the required knowledge and expertise, suc-
cessful applicant will be hired one level below the full performance level.
BASIC FUNCTIONS OF POSITION-As the Security Cooperation Coordinator, the incumbent as-
sists the Military Liaison Office by being the administrative coordinator for the US Security Training
programs International Military Education and Training (IMET), Counter Drug (CD), Counter Terror-
ism Fellowship Program (CTFP) and the Foreign Military Finance (FMF) Program in support of secu-
rity cooperation objectives in Jamaica. Acts as Humanitarian Assistance Officer for the Military Li-
aison Office (MLO) when the MLO Operations Officer position is vacant. A copy of the complete
