The 2002 Compendium Provided valuable information But identified shortcomings and need

for– Greater participation by agencies– Clearer definitions– Additional project classifications– Additional information (i.e.,

funding sources, trade value, traffic volumes, approach lanes, etc.)

Most of these items are addressed in the 2003 Compendium
