The management of AKMAL has set-up some guidelines to be followed strictly, by all participants:
1. Be punctual - follow the seminar/course schedule/programme – be at the specified venue at least five minutes before the session and Cellular/Hand phones - to be switched off (or put on “silent” or “vibrate” mode) during class.
2. Be courteous to fellow participants, resource persons, lecturers and staff.
3. Dress appropriately: Course – Formal/Official attire & dining – smart casual (shorts, sports attire and slippers are NOT permitted)
4. Report to the guard house, if you intend to go out of AKMAL after classes. The main gate will be closed at 2330 daily.
5. The designated room meant for accommodation is not allowed to be visited by the opposite sex at all times.
6. DO NOT gam ble, abuse illicit drugs, br ing fire -arms/explosives and consume alcoholic beverages, as well as, pork in campus
7. Please return or drop the room key at the ‘key drop box’ before you leave AKMAL at the end of the course.
8. Please use all the available facilities. Any special request (e.g. transportation and sports equipments for group’s activities) must be made at least twenty-four (24) hours before the event.
9. For other personal activities outside the listed progamme, participants are advised to consult the Coordinator; please carry ID and passport outside the gate of AKMAL if stopped by the authority, please contact the coordinator immediately
10. The management hopes to get the fullest cooperation from the participants in order to make AKMAL, a conducive place to everybody in propagating the exchange of experience, knowledge, ideas and good practices. .
