Doing Live Sketching
~ 3x / weekBy Ana Ferreira
I’ve joined Urban Sketchers Community since 2009 and organizing USk Meetings since 2013.
Depending of my own wishes and time available I do live sketching 3-5 times per week (each double page takes about 20 to 40 minutes of observation, sketching andwriting).
This page is an example and it was sketched in the context of an exhibition aboutsubmarine cables that allow us all to access internet and to use communications.

We share our sketches
We draw& learn
together
By Ana Ferreira
As you see in these photos, many people join together to draw on their sketchbooks. We share ou sketches. We draw and we learn together about the best solutions to interpret and solve what we observe and to include it into our drawings. Live sketching is like to make a puzzle of lines, colors, washes and textures.

In 2017, I’ve talked with Joana Lobo Antunes, now the Head of Communication Office of ITQB NOVA and again we organized meeetings at ITQB Open Day 2017.
