Upload Video on DVIDS DIRECT

Navigate to http://cms.dvidshub.net/direct

Log in with User Name and ID for DVIDS main Web

site.

1. Click here to upload your video.

2. Navigate to the video you wish to upload and

select them.

3. Click on “Open” to upload each of the

videos selected.

4. Click the magnifying glass to review a video’s

metadata.

Review each vide ONE AT A TIME.

NOTE: The filenames of

the video you uploaded will

appear.

5. Review all metadata or add metadata to the video to ensure compliance with DoD Reg 5040.6

6. Click the SAVE button once

metadata review is complete.

7. Review the metadata for all other uploaded videos – ONE AT

A TIME.

Once the metadata edits are finished

and saved, the exclamation point will turn to a green

circle with checkmark.

8. Click the FINISH button once each

video’s metadata has been reviewed.

NOTE: The FINISH button will not be available until all videos have been

reviewed.
