CIPD Chartered membership

• Achieving chartered status requires HR professionals to demonstrate a proven track record in the workplace

Which route?

There are two routes to professional membership:

• Upgrade - for members with the relevant CIPD qualification

• Experience Assessment – for members without a CIPD qualification

What level of professional membership can I apply for?

Grade you can apply for

CIPD Foundation Level Certificate or Diploma

How does upgrading work?

• Two routes – paper based or telephone • Paper based

• an application form• CV provides context of career • Feedback from Line Manager and one Colleague• Org chart can be included

• Telephone• No paperwork• 45 minutes to an hour of your time• CV and Line manager support
