Box 3000 Boulder, Coioraoo 80307 1989 - 14 NCAR Staff Honored as Volunteer Educators during National Science and Technology Week Nearly 200 NCAR staff members were honored at a special reception, given by Information Services, a part of the Director's Office. The reception was held as part of NSF's National Science and Technology Week to honor staff for voluntary participation in spreading science information to lay audiences outside NCAR. Among the types of activities that the staff members participated in were presentations to schools and community groups, judging at science fairs, and leading educational tours of NCAR's Mesa Laboratory for school and community groups.
