Call for Proposals:African American Studies
10th Anniversary Conference
November 5 - 7, 2017The African American Studies Program at MSU will culminate its 10th anniversary year
with a Black Studies Education Conference. Its sessions will include student activists whopioneered the black studies education movement in the 1960s.
The Program Committee is seeking scholars to present papers and serve on panels for theconference. The committee welcomes proposals on the theme of black studies in the 21stCentury, as well as papers with historical, social science, legal or economic perspective.
