Week in review Ahoy Matey! This week was packed full of pirate fun! We learned how pirates talk, we read lots of pirate books and completed comprehension and story element activities to go with them. Our favorite was “Pirate Pete”! We wrote about being a pirate after reading Pirates Don’t take Baths , a book about what pirates do and don’t do and made our own special pirate. We continued our work with 2-d shapes and also practiced our directional skills by writing directions to our treasure chest on a map. We enjoyed making a special surprise for Mother’s Day!
