Runway 17L/35R Pavement Rehabilitation June – September , 2015
15
Description:Remove and replace deteriorated concrete slabs in Runway 17L/35R Complex, as well as the northern east‐west portion of TWY ED, parallel TWY P and connectors TWY P1 through TWY P9. Project will include grading and erosion control on the slope northeast of Runway 35 Glideslope. Replace airfield lighting components as required by the replacement of concrete panels.ROM Construction: $35MDBE Goal: 22%
Pavement Rehabilitation
Glycol Facility Drainage Improvements
Description:
The project consist of repairing the TWY F slope above the Glycol Recycling Facility and storm drainage improvements to prevent erosion of the slope and flooding of the Glycol Recycling Facility. The project includes new storm water system of concrete swales, inlets and pipes, repairing damaged slope from erosion and restoring the secondary containment around storage tanks.ROM Construction: $2MDBE Goal: 4%(both subject to change)

Mud entering pond Broken pipes
Airfield Drainage Improvements‐On going
Description:This is an on‐going project. For the year 2015, work will be performed on TWY P and TWY P7, shown on the next slide. Some drainage structures have deteriorated or are inadequate. Drainage channels have eroded allowing standing water. Rehabilitate or replace deteriorated structures and construct new drainage improvements along the channels in airfield areas. Repair erosion in existing drainage channels to eliminate standing water. The scope of work for each year will be determined from field evaluation and the Drainage Master Plan.
17
TWY P & P7 Drainage ImprovementsMarch – June, 2015
Description: Work for the On‐going Airfield Drainage Improvements for 2015 will include TWY P and TWY P7. Construct a concrete trickle channel in the existing drainage swale in order to improve the flow and minimize standing water in a portion of the drainage system on RW 17L‐35R complex. A new 2 inch water quality line and outfall will be installed for an existing dead end water line near ARFF Station 3. ROM Construction: $923,000DBE Goal: 17%(both subject to change)
18
2015 Annual Airfield Pavement & Joint Rehabilitation May ‐ October 2015
Description: The Pavement Rehabilitation and the Joint rehabilitation are combined into one project. The Portland Cement Concrete Panels on Concourses A, B and C aprons and associated taxiways are exhibiting distresses. Panels will be removed and replaced. The joints associated with these panels, will be rehabilitated by removing and replacing the joint seal material and repairing spalls, as well as crack sealing. The above mentioned work will be performed during day and night time operations.ROM Construction: $5,925,000DBE Goal: 15%
2015 Airfield Pavement Evaluation
20
Description:This project would provideProfessional engineering services to evaluate existing airfield pavement conditions and update the existing Pavement Management Program. The FAA requires an airfield pavement evaluation every 3‐5 years. Evaluationshould occur in the spring of 2015 followed by the updating of the pavement management system.ROM: $500,000M/WBE Goal: 5%
Bridge Rehabilitation (Airport Blvd to First Creek – 10 Structures)
22
Description:Repair and overlay of 10 structures on Inbound Pena Boulevard. The work includes: deck repair, polyester concrete overlay of decks, removal and replacement of curb, bridge rail and guardrail, and expansion devices. This project will be advertised in November 2014, with an anticipated NTP date in March 2015.Goals: 18%

Miscellaneous Roadway & Parking Lot Improvements On-Call
23
Description:Repair, maintenance, and improvements of Airport roadways and parking lots. Work may include, but is not limited to: concrete panel replacements, correction of erosion and drainage issues, landscape maintenance, new parking lot or roadway construction, and preventative maintenance. Work already scheduled for this Contract includes the construction of Fire Station 35 Access Road, and erosion maintenance at the West Garage exit. Tasks may require significant night work hours to accommodate DIA’s 24/7 operation. There will be two (2) On‐Call Task Order contracts totaling $8M each; the RFP will be advertised in October 2014, with an NTP date in March 2015 for a 3‐year term. Goals: 20%

Wastewater System Rehabilitation
24
Description:Repair and rehabilitation of over 200 sanitary manholes, facility‐wide, including Landside and Airside. Construction is scheduled to be performed between 2015 and 2021, as approved by the State. The work may be apportioned and included in other scopes of work to minimize operational disruptions.
71st Avenue Water Quality Improvements
25
Description:Construction of a water quality facility, including an improved channel and an extended detention along 71st Avenue, west of Robertsdale Street. This project is anticipated to be advertised in November 2014, with a NTP date in April 2015.
