In this edition of “Keepin It Real,” I can’t help but to recognize all the mayhem in the world. And with all thats going on, how do you get a chance to enjoy your life, your passion or your purpose? Discord in other nations I just learned about Mike’s Grandfather. He was a foreman at paper mill here in Georgia/back in the 30’s. Times were hard. A strike has begun. But grandpa was responsible for getting the products produced so that the agendas of the mill would be met, despite the economic turmoil. Things got hot, and people who were once friendly towards one another were pushed to say & do things that they might not ordinarily say or do. Grandpa had to make a decision at one point. There was a strike line organized at the “gate” where workers entered each day. Other workers were encouraged not to “cross the line” and one worker pulled out a gun and pointed it at grandpa. But the foreman knew the worker and he slowly eased up to the gun wielding worker, the nose of the gun still threatening, and he gently eased his hand up and directed the gun to the ground. The worker soon dropped to his knees and began sobbing about money, his family, food, etc. This is what its come to folks. The world is hurting in many ways. Natural disasters are of course, out of our control (in theory). But everything else is manageable. Grandpa showed us this in the way he handle the situation. He handled it with grace. I think we have side-stepped our ability to import “grace” into our day to day interactions in business, in relationships and in life. I will admit that I am guilty as well of not importing “grace.• Author • Ghost Writer • Photographer • Film Maker & Video Producer • Publisher of other authors • Writing Coach • Event promoter/Producer • Website Creator • Graphic Designer Less a Celeb More a WorkerBee 304-825-3686 Relentless Aaron UNRELENTING! There are plenty of times when I get “fiery” or “aggressive” when the interaction likely required a softer approach. Except, I am so accustomed to “turning it up,” even if for preventive reasons... even if its just damned learned behavior. So then whats the answer? Therapy? Were the slain, striking miners in Africa, the angry/executed man in Saginaw or the gunman in Colorado all in need of therapy too? Umh, yeah!? Moreover, are/were they likely to receive it before the chaos? Uhm, not! Or maybe I’m coming up with too many solutions, and this is just the way its supposed to be? Chaos and mayhem every day of our lives. That dog-eat-dog world we keep hearing about.

I just know, in my life, I need to pursue grace, discipline and purpose. And if I do that, with a bit of meditation (or prayer), everything will continue to be alright. No, I won’t be Ghandi and allow you to whip me to submission.

But if winning helps you feel better about your life, then I’m happy for you. Knock yourself out. N o f o l k s , I ’ m n o t surrendering to suffering, I’m just advocating peace, w h e r e p e a c e a n d cooperation is warranted. Unless the line is crossed; at that point, all bets are off.

I need to remind myself not to engage in your negativity. #1] I cannot afford to. #2] It doesn't benefit me and #3] Its not purposeful for either of us.

Let us be preventive not predictable. Lets be persistent and vigilant, but lets also be purposeful, careful & graceful while getting there.

Okay, so sure, this isn’t the hip, or hip-hop way of thinking; that would be the b o l d & a g g r e s s i v e perspective on life. But gue s s what ? Fac t i s , graceful strings & mellow piano music will assure y o u r h e a r t b e a t a n d psychosomatic balance moreso than than that

host i le, angry, over-aggressive way of most

I’m just sayin.

GREAT 2 SEE my early grind recognized on the “UNSUNG” TV show the other night. Staying relevant is some kinda work, I tell you. Nobody would understand what its taken to stay consistent at being in the right place/right time thru the years. But this was certainly one of them #historic God Bless Angie Bofil & Phyllis Hyman http://w w w. y o u t u b e . c o m / w a t c h ?v=Ptjj20KqPB8

I LOVE YOU,

ESPECIALLY if YOU love you. For if you love YOU, then you are more than likely to also love ME. See, loving you and loving me is but the AFFIRMATION of our BEING HUMAN. You will not hurt me. You will not discourage me. You will not betray me, since you know that WE ARE ONE and that what happens to YOU also affects ME, and visa versa. So keep on loving me and I will keep on RECIPROCATING your love. Just know that in my affections, and in my corrections, irrelevant of gender, religious choice or skin color, I LOVE YOU. Always, RELENTLESS!
