“People are not your most important asset. The RIGHT people are.”

“Any human anywhere will blossom in a hundred unexpected talents and
capacities simply by being given the opportunity to do so.”
Doris Lessing
My Definition of Talent Management:
Talent Management involves organisations aligning the right talent to the right roles to deliver current and future business objectives. Successful talent management will be strategic, integrated and embedded within an organisational culture that places a high value on supporting and developing its people.

Can you define what you mean by talent management in your institution?
Can you define what talent you are looking for to attract the right people?
Once in your employment, what interventions will you use to support
their professional and career development?
What reward systems will you have to ensure that they remain with you and
stay motivated?
Will you adopt strategies to meet the needs of both individuals and teams?
And how will you evaluate your success, your ROI?
“The leadership and management development framework for academics
is designed to identify and nurture high quality leaders, at different phases of their career, while also aligning individual and
University needs.”
