WHAT IS A BOOTLOADER?The bootloader performs basic hardware initialization, verifies the integrity of the operating system, starts theoperating system, and provides a method to updatedevice software. This validation is important to verifythat the software loaded on the device will not damagesensitive components (radios, processors, etc.) or violateregulatory or carrier requirements. Google provides abase bootloader as part of the Android operatingsystem, and most device manufacturers optimize this fortheir specific devices.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER?Unlocking the bootloader is the first step towardsgaining root privileges. Some developers and enthusiastsunlock and root in order to experiment with applicationsor with custom builds of Android. Needless to say, youshould not attempt to unlock the bootloader unless youknow what you are doing.

WHAT IS ROOTING?Rooting is when the user has gained root oradministrative privileges on the device. In general, thisgives users access to make modifications that would notnormally be possible. With such privileges comes bothrisk and additional capability-best left to the verytechnically savvy. With rooting, you could make changesto the device that may permanently damage it or renderit inoperable.

My phone's screenguard is still chipped above the HTC logo Gotta change that.Meanwhile, nice job (But, I still feel that most of theinstructions are just kanged and made windows like from thistutorial here)Also, to help the OP, here are some useful links. Java Runtime Environment is enough for unlocking bootloaderand stuff. One can download their respective versions from thelinks below: (Credits to FileHippo for servers)
Also, consider reversing back to Yannou90's recovery as someusers had problems flashing SuperUser.zip in TWRP 2.4.1

Did you install HTC Sync?
The HTC Drivers for the phone are installed along with HTCSync, So,... it is recommended that you install it first.
