What is Field Day?10 teams of 10 people, 5 events, 1 champion and celebratory BBQ!  Teams will compete in

a round-robin style competition of lightning kickball, giant Jenga, water balloon toss, a sack race and a lip-sync Battle of the Bands. After the fun, all teams are invited to stay for

music and a BBQ hosted by UWPD.

Why?We at UWPD are always looking for ways to better connect with our community. By getting to know each other outside of our day-to-day roles as police officers, students,

employees and faculty, we are able to strengthen our connection to each other as people and fellow Badgers.  We hope this will be first of many Field Days!

Healthy Habit: Balancing Finances Did you know half of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck? The stress of not having financial stability can take a toll on your well-being so it's important to plan

ahead. Start by making a budget that can help check and balance your spending habits. Set financial goals that are specific and manageable to ensure you are

meeting them and feeling content with your progress. When it comes to budgeting, the most important thing is to remain patient, it might seem like forever to

accomplish a goal but it will pay off in the end. Remember to count your wins and stay positive and soon you will have finances that are as healthy as you!

Are you getting enough Sleep? As finals season approaches, many students will struggle to find time to leave the library

and get a full night's rest.

7-9 hours of sleep is what a college student needs.

Sleeping is the body's way of resetting after a long day and it allows us to rebuild cells, refill our energy sources, and retain memory. For students, remember that the all-nighters

at the library won't help unless you are able to rest and retain the information. Without sleep you are more stressed, less focused, and more prone to sickness- all things that will

slow down your study capabilities!

For more information on how to track sleep cycles and how to get better rest, visit UHS's
