Internal Hospitality Provision

Introduction

Baxter Storey are committed to consistently delivering the highest standard of hospitality catering at the University of Gloucestershire. Our food offer is intrinsically linked to the service standards which we set, and we will deliver a prompt and discreet service to you.

We are delighted to present our new Hospitality brochure for 2014 which gives an indication of the services available. Our menus change regularly and are influenced by the seasonality of ingredients to ensure only the best quality and value.

The University of Gloucestershire has an institutional commitment to sustainability and is a formally recognised sector leader. Our Sustainable Food Policy seeks to reduce food miles, promote fresh and locally sourced food as well as healthy, organic, free range and Fairtrade products.   Baxter Storey has a reputation for delivering fresh, quality and sustainably sourced food. Sustainability principles are ingrained in both our working practices and menu selections. We believe that by placing sustainable behaviour at the heart of our business it forces the organisation to think differently, be more creative and innovative in how it delivers its services.  We will be pleased to discuss any aspect of your catering requirements with you, and if you have any special requests, we will do our utmost to ensure that these are accommodated. In support of this we are always happy to tailor or create a menu to suit your budget or special occasion.

Booking Procedure

Service times during normal working hours are between 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

All prices quoted are per person unless otherwise stated. Equipment HireIf your event requires bespoke equipment then we will pass on the cost incurred from our supplier. LabourLarge events (100 covers or more) and those falling outside of normal working hours will incur an additional labour charge.  Any additional costs will be calculated prior to your event.

In line with this ethos we are proud to detail the following sustainable endeavours linked to this menu:

• All of the bread will be produced and baked on site in our own kitchens using flour sourced from Cotswold flour millers – FWP Matthews.

• All of the smoked meats, fish and salmon will have been sourced from Upton Smokery based near Burford on the Cotswold border.

• All of the fruit and vegetables used to create this menu have come from our supplier in Stratford upon Avon.

• Finally, our cheeses will have all been supplied to us care of Godsells based in Gloucester

Strawberry and raspberry flavors are complemented by a creamy texture and crisp refreshing acidity. La Grille Rosé d'Anjou Gwenaël Guihard 2010 - £13.95 – FranceBottled with a light natural spritz, the wine has a refreshing, summary zing. Strawberry and hints of peach fill the palate with their flavors brought out by the wines laid-back, off-dry demeanor.

Sparkling Wine

Displaying plenty of apple and toast flavors, yet intensely dry and mouth-watering. Gratien & Meyer Saumur Blanc Brut NV - £24.95 – FrancePale yellow in color, with refined, persistent bubbles. Rose Champagne

Nicolas Feuillatte Rosé Champagne NV £59.95 – FranceA delicate salmon pink rose, made in Feuillatte’s soft, welcoming style. The mousse is fine and the nose is one of intense blue berry and raspberry notes.

Vintage Champagne

Bollinger Grande Année 2000/2002 - £120.00 – France Bollinger’s stunning vintage wines are highly sought after, following house style, this is richly fruited champagne with bold yeasty notes, yet with an elegance and finesse that is typical of superior vintage wines.  Dom Pérignon 2002 - £160.00 – France One of the worlds most famous champagnes, this is Moet and Chandon’s prestige cuvee wine. Dom Perpignon is specially designed to show the specific characteristics of the vintage in which it is made.
