The Boards of Studies prepare the curriculum and present to the Academic Council which approves and forwards the same to the Board of Management. Composition attached in Appendix-IX.
5.2 What are the Rules/regulations/procedure for revision of the curriculum and when was the curriculum last updated?
The Head of Department initiates the process of curriculum review through the Board of Studies of the department once a year normally prior to the commencement of new academic year. The last revision of curriculum was done in Dec 2019.

Innovation such as modular curricula Inter/multidisciplinary approach
The Design of curriculum incorporates interdisciplinary approach to facilitate students’ learning across streams/disciplines. For example, students of engineering branches, besides their own stream core and elective courses, also study Information and communication technology, humanities, environment and management related courses. The syllabi are broken into modules.
5.5 Has the University conducted an academic audit? If yes, please give details regarding frequency and its usage.
Last academic audit was conducted in May 2019. Academic audit is done on yearly basis by a team comprising of representatives from industry and institutes/universities of national importance. It is used to upgrade the teaching procedure.

Projects, Internships, Field trainings, Seminars and industrial visits are part of the curriculum.

The examination system is based on both written examination and practical examination. Details are given in Examination rules and regulations for academic programs given in page no. 08 to 23 of Appendix-XI.

Answer scripts of Semester end examinations are evaluated by both internal and external examiners. External experts are invited for evaluation.

Few minor cases of unfair means were reported and they were dealt as per the procedures laid out in “Misconduct and use of unfair means in Examination” rules.

Paper setters are provided with the course objectives, detailed syllabus and lesson plan with guidelines for preparing question paper to ensure that the question paper is a balanced one covering the whole syllabus.

Question papers are set by external paper setters. External invigilators are invited during exam. Head examining of answer scripts are done by external professors.
