Major of the Month Recreational Administration

The Bachelor of Science in Recreational Administration combines classroom learning and on-the-job training. Students study areas such as recreation programming, leadership, marketing, evaluation, leisure education, administration, and therapeutic recreation. Graduates are prepared to take a national examination to obtain the Certified Park and Recreation Professional certification and/or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification. The program is nationally accredited. The two options within the program are recreation administration and therapeutic recreation.
