Foreign students and non-EU citizens regularlyresiding abroad who­ intend­ to­ apply­ for­ aBachelor’s­ degree  (3­ years) must havecompleted at least 12 years of primary andsecondary education.

Foreign students and non-EU citizens regularlyresiding abroad who­ intend­ to­ apply­ for­ aMaster’s­Degree (2­years) must have completedat least 15 years of primary, secondary and highereducation (12 + 3, 11 + 4, or 10 + 5).

ITALIAN­LANGUAGE­REQUIREMENTS­All foreign citizens that do not possess an ItalianLanguage Certification recognized by the MIURmust sit a compulsory Italian Languageexamination at the University.

The minimum recommended level of Italian forstudents is B1 to attend Bachelor’s courses andC1 for Master’s courses. International studentswho choose to follow courses held in Englishshould also have B1 level for Bachelor’s coursesand C1 level for Master’s courses.

In February and in September, before the startof the first and second semester, incomingstudents can attend a free intensive course ofItalian (30 hours). In order to be admitted theymust take an entry test to assess theirknowledge of Italian. Students who attendregularly and pass the final exam will beawarded 3 credits.

Aim­and­ObjectivesThe aim of the Course is to provide graduateswith multidisciplinary skills in economics, law,statistics and mathematics for finance to workfor both private companies and publicinstitutions. The Course aims at developing two professionalprofiles: 1) expert in business management witha specific knowledge of marketing, finance,accounting and organization; 2) expert inbusiness internationalization processes.Students will be able to choose one of ourcurricula in Business Administration orInternational Economics.

Entry­Requirements­High school diploma or equivalent diploma.

Career­OpportunitiesThe course aims to develop the following jobprofiles:n Expert­ in­ business­ management­ issues;

marketing, finance, accounting, sales,organisation, etc.;

n Expert­ in­ business­ internationalizationprocesses.

Graduates are able to hold positions ofresponsibility, from HR management toplanning and monitoring activities in public andprivate companies and in internationalorganizations; they can operate, after earningthe qualifications required by law, asindependent professionals in economics-related fields, particularly as auditors ofaccounts.

Tuition­and­FeesFees are applied depending on merit ratings.For year I, tuition varies from € 1,700 to € 4,300depending on the mark obtained on schoolgraduation. Aim­and­ObjectivesThe aim of the Course is to arm graduates withprofessional knowledge of functional areas ofbusiness and a comprehensive understanding ofthe international business strategies employed bypublic and private companies.Students who enroll for this program will be able tochoose one of three different curricula: 1) Business Administration and Consultancy;2) Luxury Goods, Made in Italy and Emerging

Markets; 3) International Relations.

Career­OpportunitiesThis course prepares for the standard professionsin the economic area, ranging from certifiedaccountant to business consultant, and it trainsfuture managers for executive positions in globalcompanies, in emerging sectors and inindependent professions.The curriculum in Luxury Goods, Made in Italy andEmerging Markets arms students with skills in thefields of quantitative economics, business and law.These prerequisites are necessary to holdmanagerial positions in companies dealing withluxury goods and Italian quality products andmainly operate in emerging markets.

The program was designed for a class with Italianand international students, mostly from emergingcountries. The goal is to form a new generation ofmanagers who can operate in an interculturalsociety and a global economy. The curriculum in International Relations trainsfuture professionals in a wide scope of skills forinternational relations with special reference to themanagement of governmental and non-governmental organisations for students to beable to analyse and handle situations arising fromworldwide political, economic and socialphenomena.

Tuition­and­FeesFees for the curriculum in Business Administrationand Consultancy, and International Relations areapplied depending on merit ratings. For year I,tuition varies from € 3,000 to € 4.800 dependingon the mark obtained on school graduation. For the following years, it varies from € 4,300 to €4,800 depending on the number of and averagemark achieved in the examinations of the previousyear. AimsThis course provides solid language training andcultural preparation regarding the countrieswhere the studied languages are spoken, andconsolidates skills in Italian language andliterature. This program has an interdisciplinarynature and includes compulsory courses ineconomics, history and law. It enables directaccess to the Master’s Degree in Interpretingand Translation (LM-94).

AimsThe course prepares interpreters and translatorsto exercise the profession at a high level oftextual and intercultural complexity, both inspoken and written translations. It arms studentswith the specific skills to translate specializedtexts and speeches in the fields of economics,law, society and politics, publishing, computerscience, multimedia and biomedicine.Considerable attention is paid to thedevelopment of skills for documentation andresearch and for text drafting and revision, aswell as to new technologies applied totranslation, with training modules on localization,terminology and aided translation.

RequirementsCandidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or anequivalent degree. Furthermore:n Candidates with an Italian Laurea Triennale L-

11 or L-12 may be exempt from entrance testsprovided their degree includes 24 ECTS or morefor each language and the total amount of ECTS

earned in literature or culture/civilization is notless than 36;

n Candidates with other types of Bachelor’sdegree (or equivalent degree) must haveobtained at least 30 ECTS in each language theyintend to study and at least 12 ECTS in therelative literature or culture/civilization.

n Candidates who cannot prove to have earnedthe number of ECTS required as shown abovemust be able to prove they have a C1 level(Common European Framework of Referencefor Languages) in each language they intend tostudy or have an interview to evaluate theirpreparation for the program. The interviews areheld in September.

Career­OpportunitiesQualified interpreters and translators maysuccessfully integrate both public (national andinternational institutions, organizations and bodies,especially European Union institutions, the OECD,the WTO, the World Bank and the United Nations)and private (national and multinational companiesoperating in all sectors, i.e. the economy, science,communications, publishing, etc.) sectors.

AimsThis degree course offers a highly qualifyinglearning experience for language andintercultural experts to apply their skills invarious fields, e.g. as foreign language teachers,teachers of Italian as foreign language,language and editorial consultants, and officersof private or public organisations specialised ininternational relations. The curriculum includesthe advanced teaching of two foreignlanguages and their cultures, the analysis oflanguage use in various contexts (textual andpragmatic linguistics), language description andteaching issues, illustration of sources andeditions of texts on the origin of languages andliteratures (philology). The course also includesa focus on advanced Italian language learningand the related literature.

RequirementsCandidates must have a Bachelor’s degree orequivalent three-year degree. For moreinformation please refer to the AcademicRegulations of the program.

Career­OpportunitiesGraduates in this course will find jobs inlanguage teaching contexts (schools, languageinstitutes and cultural centres), and beyond, i.e.editing of texts in Italian and other languages(translation, proofreading and other editing jobs),exchange of correspondence and meetings ina foreign language (e.g. cultural mediation), anddocument search. Erasmus+­Program

Erasmus+ 2014-2020 is a sector-specificcommunity program that gives students theopportunity to attend classes and sit exams in aforeign University and have those creditsrecognised in their home university.

European­MobilityUNINT University participates in the Erasmus+Program, including mobility and scholarshipopportunities for students, researchers andstaff. After completing all formalities with theirown institutions, Erasmus students must sendthe following documents to the UNINT Erasmusoffice:n Learning agreement (stamped and signed

Language­requirementsThe minimum recommended level of Italian forstudents is B1 to attend Bachelor’s courses andC1 for Master’s courses.In February and in September, before the startof the First and Second semester, incomingErasmus+ students can attend one freeintensive course of Italian (30 hours). In order tobe admitted they will take an entry test by whichtheir knowledge of Italian will be assessed.Students who attend regularly and pass the finalexam will be awarded 3 credits.

Extra-EU­MobilityThe current Non-EU ERASMUS+ Program (2015-2017) funds 28­ international­ mobilityscholarships­for­semester-long­study­periodsabroad­ in­ Canada,­ Morocco,­ Taiwan­ andRussia­ for­ UNINT­ students. Those 28scholarships will be distributed as follows: 16 forstudents of the second or third year of aBachelor’s program (BA) and 12 for students ofa Master’s program (MA).Each scholarship, of varying amount dependingon the destination, includes a­contribution­tocover­the­travel­costs­and­living­expenses forthe whole duration of the stay. The 28scholarships will be assigned for mobility fromNovember­2015­to­May­2017.In the same period, and thanks to the Non-EUErasmus+ Program, UNINT will welcome 44students from Canada, China, Mexico, Morocco,Taiwan and Russia.For more information, go to the specific page onour website.

Laurea­triennale­(Bachelor’s­Degree)The first cycle of Italian higher education – forthose who have completed secondaryeducation. Three years of higher education at theend of which – provided they pass all exams andsuccessfully present their dissertation – studentsobtain a degree: Diploma di Laurea Triennale(Bachelor’s Degree) and 180 ECTS (universitycredits). The minimum grade to obtain thedegree is 66, whilst the maximum grade is 110,which can be obtained cum laude (with honors).

Piano­di­studi­(Curriculum)The curriculum is the set of exams andeducational activities that the student isexpected to pass or validate in order to obtain thedegree. Sessione­d’esame­(Exam­session)There are two types of exam sessions: ordinaryand extraordinary. The ordinary sessions areusually Summer (June/July), Fall(September/October) and Winter(January/February). The University, Faculties orDepartments decide when to hold theextraordinary sessions, which are thereforesubject to change.
